Talking To Myself
Talk And Response Art is not new. It started a long time ago. I have been having conversations with myself while I create for as long as I can remember. This piece is from one of my long collage "sentences." I inherited the ream of computer paper, via the dumpster outside an old studio of mine, many years ago. I enjoy taking many sheets of it, still intact, and pinning it up on my wall. I then write out what is on my mind like a journal entry. From there, I spend the rest of the time covering up some of the words so that it takes on another composition and is not so content driven. I am thrilled to expand on this notion of having a dialogue during the creative process and share it with others.
